What is this?

A small competition where you predict the results of the 2026 World Cup (Canada, Mexico, USA). All 72 group-stage matches are included. You enter your own predictions, and when a match is played the admin enters the result — your points are then calculated automatically and you climb the leaderboard.

Getting started

Create an account with a name, email and password — it takes a minute. We email you an activation link; click it to confirm your address and you're in. Next time, log in with your name and password (forgot it? there's a reset link on the login page). Players can also invite friends with a personal link from their Invite page.

How to predict

On the home page you type your predicted result right on each match and press Save. You can change a prediction until kickoff — after that the match locks. Everyone's predictions are visible on each match's own page.

How points work

Points are based on your predicted result compared to the actual result. The total at the top is all your points combined.

3pExact result. Predicted 2-1 and it ended 2-1.

2pRight goal difference. Predicted 2-1, it ended 3-2. A draw prediction that became a different draw counts here.

1pRight outcome. Right winner but wrong goal difference.

0pWrong. Wrong winner/outcome.

Standout players

The admin can highlight players who stood out in a match, at three levels (★★★ best, ★★, ★) — with player name, team/country and an optional comment. It's not a score, just match flavour shown to everyone:

Tables

Under Tables the live group standings are built from the results (3 points for a win, 1 for a draw). The top two in each group are marked as advancing.

Roles

The site is open for anyone to read. Players log in and enter their own predictions, and invite others with their personal link. Admin enters results and adds standout players, referee, comment and links per match. Max is included as a player with his pre-tournament predictions.

Add to home screen

On iPhone: open the site in Safari, tap the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen. You'll get an app icon and the site opens full screen. On Android, Chrome shows a similar Install option.

Data

Matches, results, group tables and the leaderboard are available as JSON at /api/data when you are logged in.
