How the app is built

This app is more than a prediction pool — it's a live experiment in user-driven development. The players who use it propose what gets built next, and approved suggestions ship to production often within a day.

Help shape the app

Activate "Help shape the app" under Settings and you can suggest features right inside the app. Your suggestion text is private — only you and the admins see it. Your name may be shown publicly as credit when something you suggested ships.

What happens to a suggestion

1You suggest. A few sentences in the app — the need, not the tech.
2It's reviewed. Similar ideas are grouped and written up as a change request with a test plan.
3A human approves. Every release passes a human gate before any code is written.
4AI builds it. The code is AI-written, tested and verified before going live.
5It ships — with credit. You follow the status on your suggestions page; shipped features name their suggester in "What's new", and the leaderboard counts contributions.

The experiment

The question being tested during the World Cup: can a production version of user-suggested features ship every single day? Idea-to-production lead times and release stats are tracked throughout the tournament, and the results will be shared after the final.

How the insights are made

The pre-match previews and post-match recaps are generated by a local AI model from the app's own structured data - the prediction spread, group standings, results, standout players and Max's comments. Only the given facts go in; the model never invents numbers or names. Each insight is cached and regenerated when the underlying data changes (new predictions, a played match), so it stays current without a human writing it.

Who is Max?

Max is the host of the pool and the human voice of the app: he enters the results, writes the match comments and highlights the standout players after the matches. The AI insights you see on each match card are woven from his input and the app's data, never invented. He competes himself too, with his own pre-tournament predictions.
